Late to Class « Thread Started on Nov 20, 2006, 9:51pm »
"Shit..." James mumbled as he shoved his way through the massive crowds in the hallway to his locker. He quickly unlatched it and shoved his English book and binder in the huge mess that lay before him. He managed to pull out his Science textbook and binder from underneath the many wads of stranded papers, other textbooks and binders.
Now, he had to make it through the massive amount of people crowding the halls. The Science Lab was downstairs, which meant walking through the hallway of the Sophomores as well as the Hallway of the Seniors. He was streaking through the halls at a good pace when he suddenly collided with someone, his books flying from his arms as he stumbled and fell backwards. He hadn't seen what had happened to the person he collided with, and he blindly waved his hand around, "I'm sorry!" He called apollegetically, wondering who he was talking to exactly. Little did he know, he was in for a surprise of his life...

Little did the other Senior know, Alyson herself too was late for class. She was running in the other direction. With her long wavy black hair swaying behind her back, Aly broke into a sprint, cursing to herself under her breath.
And right when she whispered, "Fuck!" she had then crashed into someone, causing her to backfire and fall to the ground. Groaning, she sat up and scrambled to her feet. "It's okay, really, my fault for runnin-" Aly cut herself off before she could say no more when she actually looked at the face that she had crashed with. Aly wasn't knew, but she never saw this boy. She grinned shyly. "Uh...yeah, sorry," she said softly, still grinning.

James rubbed his head gently and managed to open both his eyes to see an absolutely stunning girl that lay before him. He sat up slowly, reaching around to pick up his books. It was hard to take his eyes off of the beautiful girl while he fumbled around for his books. "No...it's my fault, I'm sorry," He stated apolegetically, standing up slowly. He didn't realize that he had left one of his books on the ground, so he extended his hand instead, "Not sure if we've met, but I'm James Jacobson," He gave her a warm smile, obviously showing his interest in her.

Bending over, Aly picked up his last book, then straightened up. She smiled at him and gingerly grasped his hand with her free one. "Alyson Anders, and I don't think we've met," she said quietly, before letting go, feeling herself blush.
"Uhm, here you forgot one," she said sweetly, handing him the last book that had fallen from his hands. She flicked her hair behind her shoulder and kept smiling at him.

He greatfully accepted the book from her hands, "Thanks...didn't even notice," He chuckled softly, flipping his bangs back from his eyes by flicking his head slightly. "Weird that we never met...you look old enough to be a Senior, which I am, so...are you a Senior?" He asked curiously, a gentle smile on his features.
She seemed to be a sweet and innocent kind of girl and James wanted to get to know her better. Maybe they could really connect somehow...

"Actually, I am a Senior," Alyson replied, smiling back at him. He looked pretty hot when he flipped his hair by flicking his head. Ironicly, Alyson liked that. "I was new last year and I guess we had no classes together or something," Alyson added, raising her narrow shoulders in a small shrug.

So, good ol' James was right! He'd always been somewhat psychic... "Hehey, I was right," He said with a gentle laugh and then pulled his right sleeve back to reveal a blue TIMEX watch. "Speaking of classes, I'm screwed since I'm so late to Science. Plus, it's downstairs so it'll be a while before I get there... Not to be nosy, but what do you have right now?" He asked, his ocean blue eyes sparkling as he spoke to her.

"Ha, uh actually I have Science too! So we can get in trouble together!" she giggled. She was such a dork sometimes, but usually thats why so many people loved her, because of that. Hehe.

Gabriella, of course, rushed past them without noticing the moment that was happening, since she couldn't find the dumb French classroom! Typical, her parents transfer her, and she has no clue of where to go, she wasn't failing yet, but if she fails in this school, she might end up somewhere worse! Which was why she was trying to find the classroom.
